Jedi-5 yrs, male who is a sweetheart! Available for foster or adoption. He's great with other dogs of all sizes, potty trained, rides well in the car. He's currently on a weight loss plan to get down about 10 lbs but doing great! He is baby gate trained to the laundry room (instead of crate trained), loves to play fetch, has moderate to low energy. No cats. History of living well with kids 8+ yr old. He's a total lover & just wants to be close.

Duke is a sweet, social guy, apprx 3 yrs old; potty trained. He's been tested staying lose in the home fine for short periods & done well. Good w/ female dogs 45+lbs, kids unknown, NO cats. Fun, silly boy who loves to play ball! Crate traine, rides great in the car, very affectionate, loves people! Seems well mannered & knows several basic commands; moderate energy. Was adopted from a shelter recently & adopter was in love with him but he has high prey drive & she has cats & livestock. :(

THEIR STORY...
Urgent Shelter Dogs are those who are currently in kill shelters, who are dangerously close to being euthanized. These dogs are not in the care of Lone Star Doberman rescue, but who we learn about through our extensive animal rescue contacts. Because Lone Star Doberman Rescue is all about the dogs, we make it a priority to immediately rescue these dogs from their current situation when foster homes and funds are available, and we use our every resource/effort we have to place them either in foster care or adoption. These dogs are in desperate need of help!
